I am not enough of a Marvel superfan to give you the full thumb, though I am told that for aficionados, there are Easter eggs and references aplenty. Westview, their stage set, is a real town, its reality magically warped and its residents mind-wiped to maintain a fantasy of prime-time domesticity - down to a pair of twin boys, who are born and grow in time-lapse TV fashion. With Coulson gone and his robotic LMD taking a well-deserved break, the greater MCU is missing its human heart and easy-going everyman. wouldn't have existed without Coulson, but if the critically acclaimed seven-season show gave him one flaw, it would be that the escalation of his own abilities took away the simplicity of the character which made him feel relatable in the first place. There's no question Coulson earned his power and his peaceful end at the side of Melinda May, but he also lost touch with the larger superhero world that had been such a big part of his life. ![]() He'd also continue adventures on screen, despite Loki killing him however, he'd transition to the small screen.
